To achieve a bunny-like look, I identified two main components: the bunny ears and the tail. Bunnies are agile and tend to be associated with childlike features because of their cuteness.
I identified the helmet, the 5-wheel skates and the special posture/skating technique as crucial elements of Dowhill Skating, a very dangerous and fast paced sport.
Here you can find some sketches. I picked the best ones and digitalized them.
I also analysed some logo styles and applied them to the ones I made before.
Later on, I merged both concepts together and sketched some more until I found one that I liked. I digitalized it.
Finally! I made some color variations and got my logo design.
